Dachshund coats

Standard dog coats often don't suit a dachshund's long body and distinctive shape. The Bramble Sprig dog-coat range is being made with dachshunds in mind.

For now these are enquiry/custom-order items so we can get the measurements right.

The Bramble Sprig story

Born from a very ordinary rainy-day problem.

The idea grew from real family life: one of those days that starts bright and suddenly turns into a downpour, leaving a little one soaked when there is nothing quick and practical to pull over their clothes.

That simple problem became the starting point for handmade ponchos — and then grew into colourful small-batch clothing, personalisation, dachshund coats and matching pieces.

Made by hand

I cut, sew and finish the garments myself rather than buying finished stock.

Small batches

Many prints are bought in limited quantities, so a fabric may not return once it has gone.

Personal touches

Optional embroidered names are available on selected pieces.

The ponchos are designed with generous coverage. These are approximate pattern centre-back lengths rather than individual finished-garment measurements.
